At last, the full-length trailer for season seven of Doctor Who. The trailer was released this morning and it’s a cracker. Besides the excellent Doctor Who specials, the main story has left us longing for what happens after the events of The Wedding of River Song. Earlier, we brought you the new promo poster for the series, and it got us wondering.
Coming this Autumn, season 7 is packed with all sorts of amazing creatures, places, and of course, the stories that bring it all together. There’s going to be five episodes broadcasted up until Christmas, which will culminate in the climactic departure of the Ponds (Amy and Rory.) There won’t be any two-parters, and each episode promises to be spectacular in their own right.
You could spend an age going through the trailer, and most of us will, to see what lays ahead for the Doctor and his adventures.
The first episode called Asylum of The Daleks has every Dalek ever built in a massively furious face-off with the Doctor. Episode two, Dinosaurs On A Spaceship, brings back those fun episodes, which sound completely off-the-wall, and usually fun to watch. In this one, it’s dinosaurs! For Episode three, A Town Called Mercy, writer Toby Whithouse has written the script, which probably means it’s going to be incredible.
The trailer really has it all; from an Egyptian-looking lady, Daleks, an ice planet, to a couple of stodgy robots, and of course… River.
We all know that Amy and Rory are leaving the show, and in some ways they already have after the Doctor left them in The God Complex episode. The characters are much beloved by fans, and it’ll be sad to see them go, and depending on how this happens, it could be tragic — perhaps no way for them to ever come back. Seeing the Weeping Angels is an omen for the crew of the Tardis.
I think i’ll go watch season 6 again to build up for the new season coming. It looks like it’ll be outstanding.
